The Sunshine Coast

Bushmans River Mouth and Kenton-on-Sea are situated on the spectacular Sunshine Coast, only 8 kilometres from the historic spot where Bartholomew Dias erected his stone cross some 500 years ago, and boast a temperate climate together with endless golden beaches. The area is known as the Jewel of the Sunshine Coast and offers all the modern amenities one could need such as banking, shopping, restaurants and accommodation.

Situated on one of the most beautiful stretches of coast in the world you can relax on the beach, take a scenic stroll between the unspoilt Bushmans and Kariega River mouths, hunt for oysters and mussels in the rock pools or swim in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. If you are a keen angler you can expect to get a good catch whether you fish from the beach, river or deep sea. Bird watching enthusiasts will also find that the area abounds with bird life which in turn supports an active local Bird Watching Club. The historic city of Grahamstown is also only 58 kilometres from Bushman's by road and here you will find some of the finest schools in the country as well as the world-renowned Rhodes University.
